Colorado Springs School District 11 highly values the opportunity to train and mentor student teachers and considers it a privilege to prepare the next generation of teachers.
Student teacher placements are a result of an agreement between Colorado Springs School District 11 and the preparing university. Click on the Student Teacher Process link below when considering a placement in School District 11.
The District requires an official request from the university and background checks for all students that directly interact with students.
