School Accountability Committee is looking for members!

Hello Stratton Parents,

The School Accountability Committee is looking for members. This committee meets once a month, with Principal Rudd, through “Second cup of coffee” to discuss topics concerning our students and school. Topics such as school budget, safety, testing, discipline & attendance, counseling, technology in our school, USIP (unified school improvement plan) ETC.

We will hold informative meeting, including guest speakers, with the intent of you walking out learning something new that you can then share with fellow parents and community members. We also stay connected to what is happening at the district level and how our school fits into those plans.

It is a great place to learn about what our school offers and how everything works together. We welcome any input you may have towards the betterment of our school, in support of student growth and well being.

If you are interested in being a part of this committee please join us for a “Second cup of coffee” October 10th from 8:15-9:00 am. Our first guest speaker will be Superintendent Dr. Michael Thomas. He will be discussing the new strategic plan for D11.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about SAC please contact our parent organizer Nila Rickard at or 719-217-9409.
