D11 HAS MORE CTE PROGRAMS THAN ANY OTHER DISTRICT IN THE PIKES PEAK REGION
-
Career and Technical Education (CTE) in District 11 is a comprehensive program that connects students, grades 6-12, to work-based learning opportunities and a career-centered curriculum. Currently, CTE has over 63 programs at all middle and high schools. All CTE programs in D11 are state-approved and part of the Community College of Colorado System. Programs vary by school but are accessible from 6-8 grades at the middle school level, and 9-12 grades at the high school level.
All CTE programs are supported by active student organizations that are co-curricular in development and support classroom learning with opportunities outside of the class. CTE programs partner with local businesses in the industry to develop work-based opportunities for students.
Colorado Springs School District 11 is proud of the award-winning CTE programs and Career Pathways. If you want it, we have it!
