Pikes Peak Library District Summer Reading Program
Registration for Summer Adventure begins June 1 and is for ages 0-18!
What is Summer Adventure?
Summer Adventure encourages kids to read, move, and imagine all summer long with a focus on building or maintaining healthy habits.
Kids get a prize for signing up, and then another after reading, moving, and/or imagining for 30 days! There are also a wide variety of programs, activities, and more at the library all summer to encourage learning and the love of reading. Here's a sample of our June programs for kids and families.
Besides free programs all summer, PPLD will hold four parties around town to celebrate reading:
-Westside Party @ Memorial Park in Manitou, Friday, July 15, 10 a.m. - noon
-East Library Party @ George Fellows Park behind the library, Friday, July 22, 10 a.m. - noon
-Fountain Party @ Aga Park in Fountain, Friday, July 29, 10 a.m. - noon
-Palmer Lake @ Palmer Lake Green, Friday, August 5, 10 a.m. - noon
