3-Year-Old Preschool Plus Program
Children who are 3 years old on or before October 1, 2026, are eligible to enroll in the District 11 Preschool Plus Program.
This program is designed for families who are looking for both a high-quality preschool experience and extended care options in a structured school environment. The Preschool Plus Program provides 10 hours per week of preschool instruction, along with extended care supervised by qualified school staff during non-preschool hours.
Our Preschool Plus Program will begin offering care at the start of August, operating Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Beginning August 19, students will start attending the preschool instructional portion of the program.

Program Schedule
The Preschool Plus Program operates Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., offering flexible drop-off and pick-up options for families.
Students must attend the designated preschool instructional hours:
Tuesday through Friday | 7:45 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
Outside of preschool instructional time, families may utilize extended care hours to best fit their schedules.
Tentative Daily Schedule (Example)
7:15 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. – Arrival & Soft Landing
Students arrive and participate in a variety of engaging activities to start the day.
7:50 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. – Preschool Instruction
Students attend the preschool classroom for structured learning and instruction.
10:20 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. – Play & Learning
Time for guided and independent play-based learning activities.
11:20 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. – Playground Time (3-Year-Olds)
Outdoor play for physical activity and social interaction.
11:50 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. – Lunch, Nap & Play
Students enjoy lunch, quiet rest, or nap time, followed by play activities.
2:50 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. – After Care: Learn & Play
Structured and free-choice activities for continued learning and recreation.
