Full-Day Tuition

Tuition Overview
Full-Day tuition is for students who are 4 years old on or before October 1, 2026. Full-day tuition covers instructional hours beyond the 15 hours per week funded by the Colorado Universal Preschool Program.
District 11 tuition-based placements are designated for families who do not qualify for state-funded extended hours.
District 11 Full-Day Tuition Program (2026–2027 School Year)
If your family does not qualify for extended hours through UPK, District 11 offers a new affordable tuition option. Families may pay for the additional 15 hours beyond the 15 hours provided by the state. Tuition rates are on a sliding scale and based on the family's income, using the Federal Poverty Level Calculator to determine your family's percentage of FPL. -
0–100% of FPL = $0 per month:
Families at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) automatically qualify for Full-Day Preschool through Universal Preschool at no cost. Income eligibility is determined by Universal Preschool. Families who choose to participate in Before and After School Care will pay those fees directly to our community partner (please click here for more information).
-
101–200% of FPL = $235 per month:
Through Universal Preschool, families between 101–265% of FPL must meet two qualifying factors, with income counting as one. Families who meet the income requirement but do not have a second qualifying factor—and fall between 101–200% of FPL—may still enroll in Full-Day Preschool at 50% of the full tuition rate ($470), totaling $235 per month. This tuition covers the additional 15 hours beyond the 15 hours provided by the state.
-
201–270% of FPL = $352.50 per month:
Families who meet the income requirement but do not have a second qualifying factor—and fall between 201–270% of FPL—may still enroll in Full-Day Preschool at 75% of the full tuition rate ($470), totaling $352.50 per month. This tuition covers the additional 15 hours beyond the 15 hours provided by the state.
-
271%+ of FPL = $470 per month:
Families above 266% of FPL do not qualify for extended hours through Universal Preschool. However, families at or above 271% of FPL may still enroll in Full-Day Preschool at the full tuition rate of $470 per month. This tuition covers the additional 15 hours beyond the 15 hours provided by the state.
If your family does not qualify for full-day placement and does not want to take part in the tuition-based program, we will work with you to explore placement options in our Part-Time (AM) or Half-Day (PM) preschool programs.
