Our Gifted and Talented groups worked together to save "Gummy Fred" by moving him into a gummy life preserver using only four small paperclips. Problem solving skills were on display at all grade levels!

Fremont is a quality neighborhood Title 1 school, serving about 340 students in pre-K through 5th grade. Our highly qualified staff provide solid tier 1 instruction to all students every day and special service providers deliver tier 2 interventions in the areas of special education, culturally and linguistically diverse education, gifted education and general reading and math supports during our daily What I Need (WIN) time. The model of instruction at Fremont is based on student-led teaming, where students use roles and work together to learn and solve problems. The staff is passionate and dedicated to providing a safe, exciting and engaging learning environment where all students feel seen, heard, and a sense of belonging. Our Capturing Kids Hearts processes aid in developing relationships between and among students and staff.
