2025 Accredited with Distinction Schools

School Ratings: Elementary and middle school ratings are determined by two key components: academic achievement and academic growth. Traditional high school ratings are determined based on academic achievement, growth, and postsecondary workforce readiness. High schools considered Alternative Education Campuses ("AECs") have differentiated criteria for their ratings that match their unique educational missions, and these schools are compared against other AECs in the state.

For most schools, using the initially issued preliminary SPFs is a fair and appropriate measure for determining the school’s accreditation rating. However, the state does not designate the highest performing schools with a special label of “Distinction,” as it does for districts. That responsibility falls on the local School Board, with recommendations from the DAC and administrative staff.

Consideration for Distinction: The District Accountability Accreditation Subcommittee recommends using similar criteria the state uses for districts to recognize superior performance by accrediting schools earning 74% or more of the points possible as “Accredited with Distinction and Performance.”

The Board of Education accredits the School Performance Framework ratings based on the recommendations submitted by the administration and the District Accountability Accreditation Subcommittee for the following schools:
