Advancing an Initial to a Professional License

Completion of a CDE Approved Principal & Administrator Induction program is required for Principals & Administrators with Initial Licenses to advance to a Professional License. For more information about CDE's requirements, visit CDE's Induction page.

D11's Principal and Administrator Induction Program is being redesigned! We don't have all of the details and dates for 26/27 ready to publish yet, but we would like to add you to our communication list!  If you are needing to participate in Principal & Administrator Induction during the 26/27 school year, fill out the Interest Form below so we can be sure you receive updates regarding important dates, assignments, and more as those details become available.

26/27 Principal and Administrator Induction Interest Form

Please note, this Induction program is only available to D11 staff.  Additionally, Induction participants are required to be in a role that requires regular engagement in the Principal or Administrator Quality Standards in order to participate.  For example, the AP role requires the individual to evaluate staff, support safety and security, and be instructional leaders, so APs would be allowed to participate in Principal Induction.  Instructional Coach and Dean roles typically require a Teacher License and do not include evaluation responsibilities, so they would not be permitted to participate.  If you aren't sure, email Ash Angiollo, Director of Educator and Stakeholder Development at ashley.angiollo@d11.org to inquire.
