CDE reviews all information and approves the Professional License.
Widefield School District 3, Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8, and Colorado Springs School District 11 partner to provide a collaborative, interactive, and content-rich program. Classes are thematic and presented by leaders from each district.
To earn a Professional Principal/Administrator License, inductees are required to attend all classes. Plan on classes to be in-person. PPLA partners will notify inductees in advance if class is to be held virtually. If an inductee misses a class for any reason (district business, illness, or other scenario), the inductee will collaborate with the PPLA partners and their district supervisor to make up the content.
* Potential inductees must be currently serving in district-level leadership positions or school-based administrative positions. D11 covers the fees for D11 participants accepted into the PPLA program. If you are not a D11 employee, reach out to your district leadership to see if they have the same incentive.
*Please share this information with those candidates who meet the above criteria and seek opportunities to advance to a Professional License.
