- $0 copay on Chiropractic services for the Kaiser Base plan
- Direct Partnership with Strata Med to include enhanced medical coverage on holistic and integrative medicine and access to their 12-month GLP-1 Program

Overall premium rate increase is 12.8% on Kaiser plans and 2% increase on Delta Dental plans. Vision plan premiums remain unchanged.
These rate increases are significantly lower than the average of 20% or higher across the nation, thanks to the strong relationship D11 has with Kaiser.

Do I have to do anything in Open Enrollment?
If you do not want any changes to your current elections, and you do not have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to update, then you do not need to do anything in Open Enrollment. All current plan elections will roll into the next school year as you have them now if you do not make changes in the Open Enrollment portal.
If I am retiring, do I need to go into Open Enrollment?
If you are retiring from the district and are not part of the Retirement Incentive Program, you do not need to do anything in Open Enrollment and your insurances will end on the last day of the month prior to your retirement date.
If you are in the Retirement Incentive Program ( top 20/40/7) and will be receiving two additional years of plan coverage. This coverage will be based on the plans you are enrolled in effective July 1, 2026. If you wish to change your plans, you will need to do so in Open Enrollment so those new elections will roll forward into your two years of the Retirement Incentive Program.
If you are beginning your Transition Year, your Medical, Dental, Vision and Voluntary Life options will continue as usual in the coming school year. You may make changes to your plans in Open Enrollment, as no election letter will be provided.
During a Transition year, retirees will not have the option to carry Short- or Long-Term Disability.
Who is Benefit Eligible?
Teachers who work a .41 FTE or greater, and ESP/Exec Pro employees who work a .75 FTE or greater are eligible for benefits. Guest Staff, Temporary Workers, and employees working less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for Health benefits upon hire, but are measured during a 12-month ACA lookback period and may be offered benefits if they work 1050 hours or more during that period. These employees will be notified at that time if they qualify.
Do I need to update my Flexible Spending Accounts?
YES!! Employees must re-enroll in Medical and Dependent Care FSA and designate their contribution amount each year if they wish to continue participating.
You may also consider updating your Short-Term Disability if you have had an increase in salary since your last enrollment.
If you wish to change the beneficiary(ies) for your life insurance policy at any time, email the benefits office at Employee. Benefits@d11.org for a beneficiary change form, as changing beneficiaries is NOT an option online during Open Enrollment.
