Hello Wilson Wildcats! My name is Syvena Fairbairn and I’m the Instructional Coach at Wilson Elementary. This is my 3^rd year at Wilson and my 14^th year in Colorado Springs District 11. I am a Colorado Springs native. I attended school in Manitou Springs. Upon graduating, I went to CSU-Pueblo where I received my Bachelor’s in Education. I received my Master’s from University of Northern Colorado. I am married, have two step kiddos, and three dogs. I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

My name is Holly Wellensiek, I am the Teacher Learning Coach (TLC) at Wilson Elementary.

For 47 years I have been in Colorado Springs School District 11. Thirteen of those years as a student, and have been employed for 34 years. I have taught kindergarten through fifth grade and the last 23 years have been the TLC here at Wilson.

During my time at Wilson I have supported staff and students with implementing new curriculum and programs. Much of the time I am working with staff to identify student needs and help put in place needed services. I also handle all required district and state assessments.

In my free time I enjoy traveling and being outside-hiking & kayaking.
