For over 150 years, Colorado Springs School District 11 has been the leader in excellent education. We are a dynamic, collaborative community of energized educators, engaged students, and supportive partners with a passion for continuous learning. At D11, we dare to empower the whole student to profoundly impact our world.
Our alumni list of D11 graduates includes award-winning scientists, physicians, lawmakers, athletes, and professionals in fields around the world. We are proud to produce students who are not only academically prepared for success, but also who are critical thinkers prepared to work in culturally diverse global markets. In fact, every year, D11 graduates earn more than $20 million dollars in college scholarships!
Taking on the challenge of preparing students for their future is not an endeavor that could be successful without the support of our local community. Thanks to hundreds of partnerships with local businesses and organizations, we are able to make meaningful connections, serve our community, and offer our students enrichment beyond the classroom.
D11 is a great place to work, too! We have been recognized by the Gazette as one of the best workplaces in the region. We employ over 3,000 staff members and are blessed to have over 14,000 volunteers who work with our school district.
In many ways, D11 is the heart of Colorado Springs, and we are proud to serve our students, families, staff, and community.

Children begin showing interest in the world at a very young age. Foster their curiosity and help them enjoy their educational journey by exploring the various D11 personalized education pathways designed to spark their interests and passions. As they grow, students and families can choose other pathways as their interests may change and they engage in curriculum and classes that align with their interests.
