Hello!  I am the speech pathologist serving the West Campus, pre-K through 8th grade, and feel so lucky to be able to work in a beuatiful, historic school that serves the neighborhood where I live.  My husband and I moved to the Old Colorado City neighborhood in 2016, and enjoy renovating our 127 year old house, riding bikes and visiting all the great shops and restaurants along Colorado Ave.

I completed my undergraduate degree with distinction in Communication Disorders at San Diego State University in 1994 followed by my Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of North Texas in 1996. I also worked as a teaching assistant in courses targeting the psychological foundations of communication disorders and conducted language sample analysis through Children's Hospital in San Diego.

I have been practicing speech pathology for 26 years in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, residential facilities, pediatric and geriatric home health, early childhood intervention, Headstart programs, with 13 of those years being in service to the public schools.  This is my fourth year serving the West Campus, and I look forward to another great year!
