Hello, my name is Charlotte Foster. I am currently the K-2^nd general music teacher for West Elementary.  I am in my 21^st year of teaching music.   I was born and raised in Southern Illinois.  I received my B.A. in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Asbury University in Kentucky.  I taught in KY for 3 years before moving to Los Angeles with my husband where we lived for 16 years.  I taught in LA in both public and private school settings.  I also taught baby and toddler music along with private piano, voice, ukulele, clarinet, & recorder instruction.  It was there that I had my two children, Keegan and Zachary.  We moved to Colorado Springs in the Fall of 2020.  I am now in my 2^nd year teaching for District 11.

My family and I love the outdoor living that Colorado has to offer.  We enjoy hiking, biking and sightseeing all around this great state.  My hobbies are being outside, singing, playing piano, decorating, cooking, and gardening.  I love teaching music and especially enjoy teaching little ones and seeing the joy on their faces as they learn music.  I look forward to a great year ahead!
