If students leave, they could be removed from the current session.

By showing up to Coronado’s Summer Bridge program, students and parents/guardians agree with the following.

Attendance Policy: Students are allowed 1 absence per class, excused or unexcused. Once a student is absent from another period in that class, they will be removed from that class for the current session and placed in a GradPoint course. If a student misses more, they could be removed from the current session.

Discipline Policy: Students who are sent down to the administration office will be given a warning. If they are sent down for a second time, they could be removed from the current session. This includes cell phone violations, defiance/insubordination infractions, too many tardies, etc. Any infraction that would typically result in a suspension, will have the student removed from the current session.

Grading Policy for Intervention Classes: Students are working towards regaining credit for a failed class and will be in the class for 15 hours. Students are not guaranteed to pass these courses. Participation is required

    • If your student failed the class with a 0%-40% prior to Summer Bridge and pass their Summer Bridge class they will receive a D.
    • If your student failed the class with a 41%-59% prior to Summer Bridge and pass their Summer Bridge class they will receive a C.

Grading Policy for Enrichment Classes: Students are working towards a new credit so they will have to be in a class for 30 hours. Participation in class is required. There could be some homework depending on the teacher. If a student passes a class, they will receive a letter grade.
