    8:00 am - 12:05 pm

  • Important Information

Please contact Julie Matulovich, Health and front office assistant for Jump Start, at this number (719) 328 - 5300, if you need to get in touch with the school during Jump Start. All parent check-ins will occur through the front office doors in the health room. Please note that if you have questions before the program begins, please get in touch with Cari McKamey (cari.mckamey@d11.org).  All questions during the summer and nonurgent questions during the program week should go through her.

Program rotations start at 8:00 am and run through 11:30 am. Sack lunches will be provided from 11:35-12:05. There will be NO Breakfast served with this program.

Buses are available for pick up and drop off at select bus stops. Bus information is now available below. Students will need to bring a water bottle and pencil, and wear comfortable/athletic clothes and shoes. We will be outside at times, so students should wear sunscreen as well. Please have students leave all personal devices at home, including laptops, headphones, and cell phones. There are phones in the building students have access to when they need to contact home. Thank you!

  • The transition to middle school can be scary for students and parents. Jump Start is a non-academic program designed for incoming 6th-grade students to help with that transition. It's built to increase middle school readiness skills and get students excited for 6th grade!
