With pleasure, I welcome you to Colorado Springs School District 11’s 150^th year as we continue our commitment to providing excellent education in the heart of the city! I am honored to have been selected as your new superintendent and look forward to serving all students, staff, families, and D11 stakeholders. My professional journey started in this great city, so this is like a homecoming for me, and I know that we will exceed expectations together.

In addition to academic excellence, we prepare our students to understand and lead in a globally connected society. Our students are thriving academically and gaining the personal, social, and cultural experiences they need to impact our world profoundly, starting their educational foundation right here in Colorado Springs School District 11. Our entire D11 workforce serves our students, one another, and our community. We intentionally collaborate across departments, schools, and locations to strengthen all of our futures. The goal of D11 is to help schools and our staff adopt promising practices in our classrooms so that every student has the best opportunity to meet their potential and exceed it! Our team is growing so our students can succeed! We believe innovation coupled with passion can change students’ trajectories.

I look forward to celebrating the Sesquicentennial year, leading into the future while learning from the past. Building on our legacy, we have a solid foundation to cultivate knowledge, empower young minds, and serve each other as the City’s central school district.
