• Welcome to the Visual Arts Department

    Our Mission

Through the completion of our diverse art program, Mitchell is focused on preparing art students to further their art education and artistic growth during their high school years; setting them on paths to continue artful endeavors beyond graduation.

Mitchell currently offers courses in Painting, Ceramics, Drawing for Illustrators, and Intro to Visual Arts.  Upper level art students, Levels 3 and 4, also have opportunities to earn Honors Credits, if so desired.
