Ms. Love

Howdy- I am Ms. Love...I have served as an educator in D11 for 12 years in grades K-6th and as a Gifted Education Specialist. Prior to my D11 roles, I was an early childhood educator, director and curriculum specialist for multiple early learning centers in town. My CCU Masters degree emphasizes online teaching and learning, and I am presently a PhD Candidate in North Central University's Early Childhood Education program. My teaching pedagogy and personality is best suited for helping 6th graders transition from an elementary to middle school setting. I run a digital-based company called Critical Thinking Kids, LLC (find us on Facebook), which promotes critical thinking and provides resources to educators, families and children. In 2013 I wrote and published a book titled, Will a Horse Eat a Hamburger? which promotes critical thinking literacy strategies.

I am extremely humbled by and proud of my five children (two sons ages 12 and 15 and triplet 4 year-old daughters), who daily remind me of what really matters in life, make me laugh, and keep pushing me to become a better version of myself. Recently we added to our family, Bruno (Mars) and Melody (Mel-Mel; Fefe; Mela) brother and sister Chihuahuas.

I greatly look forward to serving your student's cognitive, social, and emotional needs and many of the links you may need for our time together are found to the left of this section. Please also feel free to e-mail me at: eliza.love@d11.org (24-48 hour response time), or call my district number at: (TBD) during my weekly office hours (TBD), or other times in the day with an expected return call within 24-48 hours. E-mail serves as the most reliable way to reach me at this point.

With gratitude,

Ms. Love
