Hello!

My name is Julie Morris and I am the new second grade teacher at Howbert Elementary. I have been teaching just over 20 years in Colorado Springs. A majority of those years were spent teaching second grade in District 2, then in 2015, I moved to D11. During the last five years, I have taught first grade and was the math interventionist for kindergarten through second. I am passionate about STEM/STEAM education and I am so excited to be joining the Howbert community. 

My husband and I live close to Pleasant Valley and have two daughters. Our oldest, Alex, is sixteen and very active in high school sports. Kinley is seven and will be joining me at Howbert this year as a second grader.
