Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Sheral St. John
This is my very first year of teaching special education! I am so happy to be at Keller Elementary! Before that, I worked as an educational assistant in elementary special education for about ten years. I loved working with students with special needs and decided to go to college and get my teaching degree. It was a LOT of hard work but so worth it! I graduated with a dual bachelor's degree in special education/elementary education from Grand Canyon University in the spring of 2019. Fun fact...my husband went to college too, earned his teaching degree, and is also in his first year of teaching special education! I am continuing to learn more and more about how to be the best teacher I can for our students.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two daughters...Jessica, who is 28, a kindergarten teacher and a new mom...and Becca, who is 23 and just earned a bachelor's degree in film! I am also a new grandma to my adorable grandson, Reid! I have two rescue dogs...Sandy, an Australian Cattle Dog...and Lola, a chihuahua! I love all kinds of music, enjoy going to concerts, and I love to color and make cards.
Though we are away from school right now due to the closure, I hope to communicate with students and families soon! Hope you are all staying safe and healthy!
