    Below you will find a number of sites and programs that are free of charge in response to the distance learning made necessary by the covid19 virus.

    We will be adding to this list as new sites and programs are offered.

  • MATH

    ABC YA: Practice math and reading skills all while playing fun games!

    ArithmaticFour: A great site for upper elementary students who want to challenge themselves. Students can choose to solve problems with whole numbers or integers.

    BrainPOP: BrainPOP is here to help you and your curious learners stay informed and on-track with free access during school closures.

    Fun Brain: Play games while practicing math and reading skills!

    Math Blaster: Parents can set up an account for their child using their own email address or the student’s district e-mail address, first.last@d11.org. Students can play alone or invite others to play with them.

    Math Game Time: Lots of facts practice with fun games!

    Multiplication.com: Don’t let the name deceive you, there is way more than just multiplication. Free for anyone.

    STmath: Students can access ST Math free from home beginning now through June 30, 2020.  At the end of that period, their parents can choose whether or not they would like to purchase an annual subscription to St Math.

    Discovery Eduation Field Trips: No permission slips required. These virtual events allow you to go to amazing places and give them remarkable experiences, without ever leaving your house. Use your student's full d11 e-mail, first.last@d11.org, and their network password to log in to discovery ed.

    Great Wall of China Virtual Tour: Visit the Great Wall of China from the comfort of your couch.

    Highlights Kids: Read, play games, and conduct cool science experiments!

    Nat Geo for Kids: Learn all about geography and fascinating animals!

    PBS Learning Media: Lots of videos for student interests!

    Yellowstone National Park: Explore Yellowstone with these virtual tours of some of the main attractions around the park. Included with each tour is additional information about visiting in person.

    Foodsteps 2 Brillance: A free digital learning resource for your children ages 0-8 years old. Go to www.myf2b.com/register/coloradosprings90 on any device/browser. Go to the app store for your mobile device and download the Footsteps2Brilliance app. When asked to register, just go through the steps on the screen, available in English and Spanish. You will receive an email with your user name and instructions to set a password.

    Fun Brain: Play games while practicing math and reading skills!

    Into the Book: Go "into the book" to play games that practice reading strategies!

    PBS Kids: Hang out with your favorite characters all while learning! You can even sign up for a daily newsletter of activities at PBS KIDS DAILY!

    Scholastic Learn at Home: Grades PK-2 need parents to log into the free account for them. Stories can be read to them or independently. A video goes along with each book and activities to follow. Grades 3-up can access stories and activities on their own. There are writing opportunities, too.

    Seussville: Read, play games, and hang out with Dr. Seuss and his friends!

    Star Fall: Practice you phonics skills with these read along stories!

    Storyline Online: Have some of your favorite stories read to you by movie stars!

    Make: Will offer free art lessons on their Facebook page each weekday for the next two weeks. They will be family oriented for a range of ages and utilize supplies typically found in your home. Join us at 1pm CT this Monday, March 16th, for our first lesson!
