    Distance Learning

There is a choice board the students can select activites from or create their own choice board of activies for every subject.

I have not introduced any new sites to the students. Please go to Classroom Links page to see login information for the websites we have been using in class. If you need a specific login for a student please email me.

In reading we use Wonders. There are weekly readings they can complete on the website with attached weekly skills worksheets that are the same as their green reading wonders spirals they may have took home.

We also use readtheory. It is a reading comprehesion website students can use to read short stories at their level and answer a few questions. This can be done as much or as little as you'd like. In our classroom we did it 15 minutes a day.

In math we use Prodigy. Students login and complete quesitons based on 4th grade standards. This can be done as much or as little as you'd like.

Students can also use ST Math, though most of them prefer Prodigy.

In science we use discovery education. The students can login and reasearch topics and create research boards on topics of their choosing. They can share these boards with me if they choose.

Hello and Welcome to fourth grade!

I look forward to a great year ahead of us! My ultimate goal is to help your child learn in a variety of ways in a safe and fun environment.

Every day I will greet your children with enthusiasm, model a positive attitude, and treat them with respect in a fair, giving, and caring manner. I will recognize their strengths, reward their efforts, and reinforce their achievements. I will encourage them to try their best, believe in themselves, and never give up. I will help them develop a sense of high self-esteem by teaching them to take responsibility for their actions, solve problems appropriately, and be good citizens. I will empower my students with an “I can do it!” attitude so they can reach their maximum potential and be the best they can be.
