James Madison Elementary offers an integrated and challenging curriculum, which places students at the center of the learning process. Our staff is dedicated to supporting every child as they reach new heights of achievement and educational opportunities. Beginning in Fall of 2018 we are pleased to announce the implementation of a S.T.E.A.M. program. S.T.E.A.M. is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in five specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Madison is committed to using S.T.E.A.M. as an access ramp to educational content, digital classrooms, coding and robotics, design thinking and more. Creating a culture of learning that will fill our halls with curiosity and achievement. Vocal music, drama, and instrumental classes are included in our extensive arts program. Our Visual Arts Class helps students develop the ability to concentrate, consider various points of view, problem solve, think creatively, work as a member of a team, and persevere in a task. As an arts-based school, our students fill the halls with their artwork and projects.
