I am Virginia Stewart and I have been working with families and their children since 1996 here in Colorado Springs and this is my 15th year at Scott.  I earned my Master’s in Early Childhood Education in April of 2015.  My Colorado teaching license endorsement is for Early Childhood Education and I am National Board Certified as an Early Childhood Generalist.  I have spent most of my career working in preschool, kindergarten, and first grade.  I also teach several literacy classes in the Inclusive Early Childhood Education degree program at UCCS.   I have lived in Colorado Springs for most of my life, even though I was an Air Force brat.  My husband and I have two daughters and one son.  Teaching is truly a passion with me, I love what I do, and I hope that is passed on to the children!  I am very dedicated to giving your child the best kindergarten experience and look forward to getting to know all of you this school year.
