I am so excited for this year! This is my 11th year as a teacher. I have taught many grade levels, in many states, and I am looking forward to a new year at McAuliffe! I have a BA in Elementary Education, a M.Ed with a focus on literacy, and I am working on my Ph.D. in education with an emphasis on literacy. I chose literacy because it is where I needed more tools as a teacher, but I love teaching all subjects!!!

This year we will have a student teacher in our room. Mrs. Reichert is a student teacher from UCCS. She will receive her BA in Inclusive Elementary Education in May. She is excited to start working at McAuliffe this year and getting to know the students. Her favorite subject is Social Studies but she enjoys all subjects!
