Mrs. Jennifer Palmer

Thank you for your interest in our gifted and talented learners! I am passionate about unlocking student potential, and eager to partner with you in support of students' academic, social, and emotional development.

As Gifted Resource Teacher at Scott, my dual role is one of teacher-collaborator and interventionist, supporting programming and growth across a gifted learner's day. You can find me in classrooms co-planning and co-teaching with grade-level teachers, facilitating small group instruction across content areas, and meeting with students and parents for goal-setting and support.

My years serving as a general educator, gifted educator, and administrator have honed my skills in instruction and relationship-building; my experience as a gifted learner and parent of gifted learners inform my empathy and advocacy for this special population.

A certified facilitaor of SENG Model Parent Discussion Groups, I hold professional memberships with SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted) and CAGT (Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented). I am currently currently working toward an advanced degree in Special Education-Gifted at University of Northern Colorado.

I welcome your connection! You can reach me by email at jennifer.palmer@d11.org
