Hello everyone! My name is Theresa Stutts. I am a third-grade teacher at Patrick Henry Elementary School.  I am a Nebraska native.  Go Huskers!!! I grew up in a tiny farming and ranching community in the panhandle of Nebraska.  I came from a very large family.  I have eight brothers and sisters.  One of those sisters is my twin sister who also lives in Colorado.  She and I are not identical but the family resemblance is strong.  After my high school graduation, I moved to Wyoming to go to college (Go Pokes!).  I left Wyoming to follow my now retired Air Force husband to Colorado Springs in 2008.  Altogether, my husband and I have seven children.  Yes…I said seven.  In 2015, I completed my masters in Elementary Ed/Literacy, along with a Reading Teacher Endorsement. I love my family and spending time with them is my most favorite thing to do.  Together we all enjoy hiking and checking out new places and traveling.  Although I have not been able to travel as much as I would like to, traveling is on my to-do list.  I feel truly blessed to be teaching.  I teach because it was a teacher that made the biggest and most positive impact in my life and I want to pay that forward. I also love unsweetened ice tea and almond M&M’s.  If you want an instant best friend, those items get me every time.
