Hi, I am Ciprian Jeanette Applin, a 2^nd grade teacher at Henry Elementary.  I have been at Henry for 18 years, my first 5 years I worked as a para SPED aide, and this is my 13^th year as a classroom teacher.  I taught 1^st grade for 11 years and this is my 2^nd year in 2^nd grade.  Teaching is my calling and passion and I truly love developing the love of learning in my students.  Henry is a great place for students, the staff believe all students can learn.   I am married, with my 30^th anniversary in April, and we have two amazing sons.  They are both serving in the military, my oldest is in the Navy and my youngest is in the Air Force.  My husband and I both were in the Air Force for ten years and are very proud they chose the armed forces as their first career.  My sons attended Henry K-5, went to Irving Middle School, and graduated from Mitchell High School.  I am very proud that they are both products of D11!
