Where to begin...

It all started when I used to play school at home with my brother. I just loved teaching him new things. It then continued when I got to help in the nursery and children's church. Fast foward a few years and I still love teaching kids new things. I love what I get to do.

I have been teaching 13 years, most of those years in Kindergarten. I truly love building a strong foundation for learning. I am excited to teach Kindergarten at Twain Elementary after teaching Kinder and 2nd grade at Jackson Elementary.

Family is a high priority in my life. I grew up in Taos, NM which is a small artistic community. My dad's 8 siblings all lived in this small town with their families and I was surrounded by family everywhere I went. I love the small town feel. I met my husband at Jackson, his mom worked with me in my classroom and had him volunteer at the School Carnival. We have been married for a year! 

Teaching has always been one of my passions. I am so grateful to continue teaching at Twain Elementary! I am so exctied to get to know the families at Twain and to become part of the Twain Family.
