I am a kindergarten teacher at Jackson Elementary. I have been teaching in District 11 since 2001 and I have been at Jackson since 2005. I went to the University of Northern Colorado where I earned my teaching degree. I love teaching kindergarten, my favorite subject is reading! It is so fun for me to watch my students grow in their reading journey.

I am married to a Veteran that served in the Army in Iraq. I have 2 children. Ella is 17 and a senior at Coronado. Ace is 12 and a 7th grader at Achieve Online. I have 4 dogs, Molli, Sadie, Violet, and Jasper. I also have classroom pets, 3 ferrets named Mittens, Magic, and Smokey, they live at home when they aren't at school.

Some of my favorite things are: spending time with my family, climbing the incline, working on a puzzle, musicals, and Starbucks!
