I am so ​excited to teach at Jenkins Middle School. I have been a teacher in the district for 14 years and at Jenkins for 4 years. I grew up in California and moved to Colorado for a college internship. Little did I know, I would also find my best friend and future husband. I returned to California to finish my degree from California State University, Chico. We married in 1994, and I followed him to Georgia for military duty in the United States Army. After returning to Colorado, we both attended Regis University to receive a Master's Degree in Education​. We have three kids. Jake is a sophomore at CSU Fort Collins studying Construction Management, and Shelby is a sophomore at UCCS studying Business/Human Resources. (Yep twins!) Emily is a senior at Liberty High School. In my "free" time, I volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol and help run the Jenkins C.R.E.W. club. Mr. Hardy and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!
