Mr. Ricardo (Rick) Perez
Rick Perez was born in Cuba and immigrated to the US when he was ten years old. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and spent 28 years on active duty. He worked both as enlisted, where he served as a firefighter and as an officer where he served as a police officer (Security Forces). After he retired from the Air Force, he became a Linguistically Diverse Education (ESL) Teacher through Colorado State University. He has been married to the former Kathleen Shanahan for 38 years and has three sons and eight grandchildren. Rick is a Catholic Christian and is active at his parish.
