This is my seventh year at Grant Elementary School. There are so many great things about our school, students, and community, and I am extremely pleased to be part of it. There are many exciting things we are going to do this school year. We will be using the Reading Wonders curriculum for Reading and Language Arts. In writing, my favorite activity we do is write a fairy tale. In math, we will continue working on place value and developing an understanding of multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry. I cannot wait to teach the fun math games and songs I have to help reinforce what we learn during our math block. In science, we will do fun experiments as we learn about force and motion, ecosystems, and weather and climate patterns. We will also have a lot of interesting topics to learn about during social studies.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I especially love spending time with my daughter, Emilee. I have a Boston Terrier Pug named Shady—she definitely lives up to her name! I also have a Siberian Husky named Koda. I also enjoy traveling, reading, and doing crafts.
