Mrs. Kimberley Kincaid

WELCOME TO THE MANN BAND and Mrs. Kincaid's class site.  To the left of this bio, you will be able to find important deadlines and concert dates, parent information, student links, and classroom photos.  Student assignments can be viewed on my Schoology website.  If you have any questions, I prefer to be reached by email at kincakc@d11.org.  I check email multiple times a day and will answer at my earliest opportunity.

I began my teaching career in 1992 and in 1996 married my amazing husband David, a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.  Since then, we have moved 10 times and I have taught in 6 states and at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan.  My experience includes teaching at all levels K-12 in General Music, Orchestra, Choir, Guitar, and my true passion:  Band!  The Award Winning Mann Band program includes: Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band and the Mann Jazz Band.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Instrumental Music Education with an additional certificate in Music for the Student with Special Needs and a Master's Degree in Music Education specializing in Instrumental Conducting from The Florida State University.

When not working with my amazing band students, I love watching college football (GO NOLES!), reading, and most importantly spending time with my family,  I have two amazing daughters, Claire, who will be attending Grad School at the Colorado School of Mines this fall, and Caitlin, a super smart HS Senior who enjoys playing Volleyball.  I can not be more proud of my girls.  I also perform with the Pikes Peak Wind Ensemble and am constantly working to refine my craft as a musician and a teacher.

I am honored that you have trusted the music education of your child to me.

This year is shaping up to the best yet and the "PRIDE" we have in our school, teachers, and band family will continue to allow as we learn what the Power Of "Yet" can do for our amazing band program.
