  • Hello, Scott Families-

Each year we run our Backpack Program for students at our school who need assistance.  Backpacks filled with food will be sent home with these students every Friday during the school year.  Last year, thanks to monetary donations, we assisted over 30 children on a weekly basis. We would not be able to continue this program without your assistance.  We really need your help in ensuring this program can stay up and running. The kids are so appreciative and excited to receive their food (and sometimes gift cards) each week. This year, we are able to collect non-perishable food items again! Please donate to this worthy cause if you can. There will be a blue wagon in the front foyer for students to drop off food.  Please direct any questions you may have to Carla Moore, 5th grade teacher. You may contact me at moorecd@d11.org or (719) 328-6262.  Here is a list of most needed items but all non-perishable food items will be accepted! : )
