    • Creating iMovies to demonstrate learning of the Constitution

Eighth graders in Colorado Springs use iMovie to demonstrate their learning of the goals and principles of the United States Constitution.  Facilitated by Mr. Butler and Mr. White, students curated pictures, recorded narration, and created background music for one principle which they shared with the class. These innovative teachers believe that this is just the beginning as we bring powerful learning to Sabin, where students create and use technology tools to work together.

    • Learning Math at Your Own Pace

Self-paced math is a concept teachers at Sabin Middle School are now using.  It consists of students teaching themselves and their peers while teachers work with individual students in areas where more help and clarification are needed.
