  • A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

    By Principal Sean Norman

    July 22nd, 2022

    Greetings Parents, Students, and Friends,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you all to Odyssey Early College and Career Options (ECCO)! The staff of Odyssey ECCO is excited about the opportunity to work with you, and we anticipate another successful and exciting school year ahead of us.

Here at Odyssey ECCO, our mission is to ensure that students learn to internalize RISE (Respect, Integrity, Scholarship, and Effort) in their quest to achieve a college degree, earn college credit, and experience career options. As the moniker “Early College” signifies, Odyssey ECCO is not your typical school experience. We truly are cutting edge. Our mission is for Odyssey ECCO to continue serving as a shining example of the Early College High School experience. However, this experience only grows when we work together as a community that respects the individual nature of who we are, retains top-notch instructors, and nourishes the relationships in the community we serve. To that end, I will work with all stakeholders to build trust, transparency, and community.

Would you please join me in embracing the outstanding academic programming, top-notch staff, and a great sense of community that makes Odyssey ECCO such a unique place to be a student?

Finally, parents, I encourage you to partner with us in supporting your student(s). Your involvement as a parent is critical. Supporting your student’s success is not only assisting your student in achieving a college degree while still in high school but also supporting the overall growth of our school. One of the main aims this school year is to grow a strong School Accountability Committee (aka PTO.) We need your support in making choices that affect the school, including growing our enrollment to expand college course offerings on campus.  I look forward to serving and working in concert with you as we guide our students along in their academic and personal success.

    Respectfully,

    Sean Norman
