The Leave a Legacy Program allows family and friends to donate a book to the Chipeta Library in celebration of special occasions, achievements and milestones. 

Consider donating a book as a way to:

• pay tribute to a 5th grader graduating from Chipeta Elementary School
• celebrate a birthday
• thank a special teacher

A $15 cash or check donation allows you to purchase a book that will represent a genre or subject area that your honoree is passionate about while at the same time, filling the need of the library.  With each donation, a card will be sent to the person receiving the honor listing the title of the book that was purchased.  A special bookplate will be placed on the inside cover of the book inscribed with the honoree's name, the donor's name and a short message.

Your gift will enable our library to continue to grow, as well as leave a lasting tribute to your special someone for all to enjoy.

1. Print the Order Form.
2. Fill it out completely and drop it off at the front office or the Chipeta Media Center with your $15 cash or check donation.
3. That's it!  We'll take care of the rest and notify you when the book arrives!
