• Hello Edison Family,

    I will be serving as Interim Principal at Edison after Dr. Willis transitions to his new position within the district. In the time I’ve been here, it’s been great to get to know students and staff. I look forward to opportunities to meet more families and get to know the Edison community.

    We will keep focus on preparing students for the high demands of a changing world.  It is essential for all school personnel to create the foundation of success for all students. Students should be able to take the principles that form their foundation of education and independently apply them as citizens of the world. This foundation is built from a rigorous core curriculum, extracurricular activities, social interactions, cultural acceptance, relationships, and self-worth. We strive to provide your children with an exceptional and distinctive educational experience.

    I have some history with the surrounding community as I was the Assistant Principal at Mann Middle School. I’ve been able to meet some siblings and families of students from my time at Mann, which has been great.

    My wife and I moved to Colorado Springs in 2005 from San Diego, CA.  When we moved here I taught at Trailblazer Elementary and then Twain.  After some time as an administrator in surrounding districts, I came back to D11 at Mann in 2019.

    We enjoy living in Colorado Springs.  All 4 of our kids are native to Colorado Springs.  They keep busy with various sports and activities including soccer, basketball, and lacrosse, and band. 

    I look forward to serving in this community and meeting the people that make it great!
