Sabin enjoys a rich history of preparing its students to be successful academically and socially in high school, which is a direct result of the direction that you all put in to meet the needs of our diverse student population.  I feel very fortunate to have been appointed principal where it is evident that the focus is on doing what is best for our students.

To share a little about myself, I grew up as a military dependent mostly living in Georgia and New York, participating in various sports and activities, among them becoming an Eagle Scout.  I completed my undergraduate studies at Fort Valley State University in Middle Grades/Secondary Education; received my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Instructional Technology from the University of Northern Iowa; my Ph.D. in Educational Administration & Educational Sociology from Capella University.

I have been in the educational field for 22 years serving in various capacities in the United States and around the world. Most recently, I was the High School Principal at Banning Lewis Preparatory Academy. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, church family, and supporting student activities. My wife and I have four children, and we are D11 parents as well.

I enjoy getting out in the community helping others and being a part of positive changes within the community. When not engaged in work, family, or ministry life, I enjoy playing musical instruments, cooking, and catching up on some sports, and enjoying the culture offered by Colorado through food, music, and the arts.

Parents, teachers, support staff, community, and administration all have important roles in encouraging our students to become lifelong learners and the best citizens they can be.  It is my desire to provide opportunities for our students to acquire the skills necessary y to become productive citizens in our changing society.

Through a close partnership with everyone associated with Sabin Middle School, I am confident that we are going to continue our success.

Personal Quote: In life, we are faced with many locked doors of opportunity.  In order to walk through these doors, we need a key.  That key is education!!!
