Be A Bus Driver
GENERAL INFORMATION
Part Time: Minimum 6 Hrs./day, school days, school year
Duty Time will vary within the hours of:
5:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 1:15 PM - 5:00 PM
Pay Days are once monthly on the 1st, year round (Stretch Pay)
Starting Pay Rate with no experience: $20.95 per hour
EXTRA DUTY OPPORTUNITIES
Activity, Noon Routes & Field Trips
TRAINING
Classroom- Approximately 25 hours
In-Vehicle- Approximately 10 - 15 hours
Drivers Assistant Class - Approximately 6 hours
First Aid/CPR training - Approximately 7 hours
OJT, Observation & Evaluation - Approximately 89 work days
BENEFITS
Optional Health, Dental & Vision Plans Sick Leave - 66 hours per school year; Accrue year to year Personal Leave - 66 hours (deducted from your sick leave) P.E.R.A. (Instead of Social Security)
