Emergency Procedures

In the event of a school or community emergency that requires a D11 school to Shelter, Evacuate, Lockdown, Secure or Hold, information will be provided to parents in several formats.

 

Important information, including family reunification sites (if needed in the case of an evacuation) will be shared via the D11 Loop through email, D11 app push notification, and text (you must opt into the text option). Instructions on how to update your Loop notification preferences and opt into the texting system may be found HERE. Families will not be notified by phone calls unless the duration of the situation lasts longer than 15 minutes.
