Public Comments are heard during Regular Board Meetings and occasionally during Special Meetings, as pre-determined by the Board President. Please note that Public Comments are not taken during Work Sessions.

The Public Comments Form will be active online from 9am to 1pm on the day of any meeting with a Public Comments agenda item.

The Colorado Springs School District 11 Board of Education will conduct
a Work Session on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 3:30 pm.

The public may attend in person or watch the Work Session via our live web stream at https://www.d11.org/TV.
 
The Board may occasionally meet in a work session to study and discuss specific topics or issues, so long as no formal action is taken at the work session.

Work sessions are open to the public. Public comments are not taken at work sessions. Members of the public are encouraged to communicate with the Board of Education by emailing or presenting their comments during the Public Comments portion of other Board Business Meetings.

A recording of the meeting will be made available to the public via BoardDocs.
 
Doors for this meeting will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. The line for entry will start outside the front doors (main entry by staircase and flagpoles), and individuals will be admitted to the building in accordance with the number of seats available, per space/fire-code restrictions, in the Board Room. Once all seats in the Board Room have been filled, individuals will be instructed to go to the "Overflow Seating" available in the HR/IT building located south of the main Administration Building.
 
If handicapped seating, parking, or other accessibility assistance is required for you to participate in this meeting, please contact Melisa Olsen at 719-520-2004 or melisa.olsen@d11.org twenty-four (24) hours in advance. If advance notice isn’t possible or given, please alert the line attendant for instructions. Handicap parking and building access are available by the elevator doors on the south side of the main administration building. For after-business-hours access to the elevator, please call Security at 719-520-2287.
