Trailblazer Elementary School

Trailblazer is a beautiful campus on the northwest side of Colorado Springs, near Ute Valley Park.

Our school values student-shared ownership of learning through reflective practices, goal progress, and opportunities to pose

questions. We form partnerships with local organizations and open doors for our students to drive education forward while making

a positive difference in their lives, our school, our community, and our world.

Our students learn inclusively through place-based education, where we explore within the classroom and out in the community.

Students participate in monthly expeditions that give them a direct experience of the wider world and facilitate connections to

community needs and how to meet them.
