🌟Bristol Elementary School offers a Suzuki Violin program. Teachers utilize creative and imaginative strategies in their teaching methods. They incorporate musical games, hold recitals for groups of stuffed animals, teach rhythm and movement classes and use many other venues to help their students and parents enjoy musical study.

S.T.E.A.M. is based on problem solving through collaboration, communication, critical thinking and an engineering design model. Students receive lessons on the importance of a growth mindset. During STEAM instruction students are encouraged to take risks. Critical thinking through planning, designing and creating solutions to real world problems is a key component that supports learning across content areas.

The integration of the arts with STEM, creates increased opportunities for students to solve problems and create in a wide variety of ways. Students are able to interact with content through innovation and creativity.

Online/Hybrid learning is an educational model where some students attend class in-person, while others join the class virtually from home. Educators teach remote and in-person students at the same time using tools like video conferencing hardware and software.

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination)

AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

AVID empowers students by explicitly teaching them the hidden curriculum of school by developing time management, organization, interactive note-taking, inquiry, collaboration, writing, and reading skills.   

The AVID elective class supports students as they engage in the most rigorous courses appropriate for them. The purpose of the AVID program is to restructure the teaching methods of an entire school and to open access to the curricula that will ensure post-secondary choices for all students.

The instructional program focuses on methodologies that will help students prepare and participate in a rigorous preparatory curriculum. All AVID students are highly encouraged to challenge themselves by taking honors classes, with the goal of completing at least one Advanced Placement course before high school graduation
