Penrose Elementary School

Penrose Logo

Penrose Elementary inspires students through Project-Based Learning (PBL), which is an instructional approach that focuses on inquiry and real-world problem solving. All students at Penrose engage with PBL at their perspective developmental levels throughout their elementary school career and makes school more like our modern world, aspiring to cultivate independent workers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. Collaborating to create and present their product, students employ critical thinking, technology, and other essential Next Generation skills while mastering curriculum standards. Penrose uses restorative practices to help foster our students social and emotional needs as they develop into life-long learners. We are committed to strong academic and social success with all students and supporting their learning with quality and engaging learning for all.
