Elementary Athletics
Colorado Springs School District 11 elementary schools do have the option to participate in district level athletics in the following; Cross Country, Basketball, Track and Field (Ron Hein Memorial Track and Field Festival). A school can opt in based on the school's ability to get a coach and adequate student interest.
Those schools that do not opt in to the district level athletics are encouraged to provide intramural (Sports Challenge) opportunities for their students to participate in sports-related activities.
