Jenkins Transportation

All the students who currently ride the bus to Jenkins will get on at their designated stop in the morning to get to school.  6th & 7th graders will get off the bus at Jenkins while the 8th graders will stay on the bus for the trip to Doherty.  In the afternoon, your student should get on their normal route bus and will be taken to their normal stop.  After school the bus will depart Doherty first with 8th graders and go directly to Jenkins to pick up the 6th & 7th graders and then to their normal bus stop.

You can continue to transport your student to Jenkins in your car.  Your 8th grade student will then board one of the route buses that will be dropping off 6th & 7th grade students at Jenkins for the trip to Doherty.  In the afternoon, your student will get on one of the Jenkins route buses for the return trip to Jenkins.

Yes.  If you prefer to take your student to Doherty and drop them off or pick them up, you are more than welcome to do that.  The drop off/pick up location at Doherty is in both the east and west parking lot area.  Students should enter through the dedicated Jenkins Entrance on Barnes Rd.

Once your 8th grade student arrives at Jenkins, they will board one of the route buses that will be dropping off 6th & 7th grade students at Jenkins for the trip to Doherty.  In the afternoon, your student will get on one of the Jenkins route buses for the return trip to Jenkins.

Students assigned to a special needs bus will be transported from their home to school and from the school to home.  6th & 7th grade students will be taken to Jenkins and 8th grade students will be taken to Doherty.  Your driver will contact you if any time changes are needed.
